A 17th century church, with Saint Adrião and Santa Maria Madalena as patron saints, it underwent numerous transformation and remodeling works over time that completely altered its primitive trait. It consists of a facade of simple lines, from which two huge portals and two large windows stand out, with a tile panel in the middle, with the image of Saint Adrião. Adjoining the left side is the bell tower, dating from 1925. This Church resulted from the union of two chapels that existed in this place in the 16th century, one dedicated to Santa Maria Magdalena and the other to the Blessed Sacrament. During the 17th century it was already the Mother Church, removing this category from the chapel of Santo Adrião, losing it only in the 1990s, after the construction of the new Mother Church.
In 2017, the building underwent a total restoration, including the Baroque-style altar, the Chapel of Santas Chagas and the Sacred Art. The exterior doors of the building, considered one of the most valuable of the religious and cultural heritage of the county, gained new symbolic elements, with one representing the resurrection of Christ and the other the announcement to Saint Mary Magdalene. Inside, the path to the altar represents the disciples' path in recognizing Jesus. The doors also have a meaning: through the handle in the shape of a staff, the pilgrim who goes to meet Jesus is represented. It should also be noted that new facilities were created in the annexes: Chapel of Hope (for wakes), Chapel of Mercy and sacristy.
